The house's story

The spirit of a house that remembers two centuries

Ruh Achari is set in an old building in Kish — one of the oldest settlements in the Caucasus, home to the Caucasian Albanian temple, said by tradition to have been founded by the Apostle Elisha. The house was carefully restored to keep the spirit of the place: stone walls, an inner courtyard, and an atmosphere where history and Azerbaijani hospitality meet.

Host Arzu welcomes every guest personally — with tips on what to see in Sheki and a homemade breakfast from local produce. A small art café at the house serves traditional dishes for lunch and dinner.
